About

0015_004Amy Petek is a nationally certified Washington  and New York state licensed speech language pathologist practicing in the North Seattle area. Originally from the east coast, Amy moved to Seattle in 2009 from New York City to be with her husband, who grew up in Seattle. She currently lives in Shoreline with her husband and daughter.

Amy has been working as a speech language pathologist for over eight years, and has had diverse experiences working in private clinics, schools, rehabilitation centers, and providing home care therapy.  Since she has moved to Seattle, while working full time for the public school system, she has been working to pursue her dream to develop her own private practice, North Seattle Speech. Amy provides consultations, evaluations, and individualized treatment to preschoolers and school age children with a wide variety of speech, language, and learning needs. She also works with adults that wish to enhance their speech, whether they continue to present with speech sound errors from childhood, or if they wish to modify/reduce their native accents.

When Amy is not providing therapy services, she loves spending time with her family and friends, and getting to do the things she enjoys such as traveling, cooking, reading, going on walks, gardening, and DIY projects.
